Summer Soccer Training Packet - Day 23

Day 23 Motivation: "Success is not given; it's earned through relentless effort, unwavering commitment, and an unshakeable belief in yourself. So don't just dream about greatness; work for it, fight for it, and never settle for anything less than your best." - Coach Thomas Goodman

Part 1 - Warmup

Do your own warm up session here is should be at least 5mins

Part 2 - Cone Dribbling

Do each of these close control dribble skills for 2 mins each

Part 3 - 9 Footwork drills "Ball Mastery" by Bellie Lim.

Learn these 9 dribbling patterns by Bellie Lim. Then do 2x2min circuits, so pattern 1 for 2 mins, then pattern 2 for 2 mins and on to 9 then go back to pattern 2

Part 4 - Create your Own 30 min Dribbling Session

You just did a "dribbling Session" and "Ball Mastery" Session, I made you do both because they both are considered "dribbling" in soccer, but for the purpose of our training this summer I wanted them to be seperate. These next two weeks the Tuesday and Thursday practices are designed by you, with equiptment you have and today we are starting with the creation of a Dribbling session. The 32 different cone drills above has almost all the cone dribbles I can think of, but some of them are easy for you or hard for you, this is why you need to make a 30min session of cone dribbling that challenges you. Write down the name of the dribbling you will do and for how many times, the total dribbling portion should last 30min. - You will do this session on Thursday

Journal Entry #23: Post your 30min Dribbling Session

Put your food and drink intake from yesterday
